New Delhi, ANI Foreign Ministry Spokesman Gopal Bagale has said that Pakistan has not shared any information about Kulbhushan Jadhav, the Indian citizen. Pakistan has not even told that where he has kept Kulbhushan and how he is. He said that Pakistan has not responded to the efforts made by India.
He said that India sought information from Pakistan on legal action that Kulhushan Jadhav had done, Pakistan refused to give it.
Earlier, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and the head of the country’s army General Kamar Javed Bajwa said that he will not come under any kind of pressure in the case of Indian citizen Kulbhushan Jadhav. According to Sama TV news, Army Chief met with General Bajwa Sharif and trusted the Prime Minister about Jadhav’s case.
Without giving much detail, the channel said that “both agreed to not come under any kind of pressure” on the issue of Jadhav. At the same time, according to the news of Radio Pakistan, the two discussed issues related to the military’s professional preparation, security and the current situation of the border in their meeting held in Islamabad.
Declaration of death penalty for Kulbhushan
Field General Court Marshal sentenced to death in Pakistan’s Military Court Officials of the Pakistani Army were also present in this court. Pakistan Army Chief Kamar Javed Bajwa confirmed this in an official statement. He is considered guilty of all allegations on Kulbhushan.
On March 3, 2016, Pakistan government claimed to have included Jadhav in a secret intelligence operation in Mashkail area of Balochistan.
Stand of India
India rejected Pakistan’s claim that Jadhav was the former Commander of the Indian Navy and Pakistani agencies abducted him from Iran. Iran has also confirmed that Jadhav was present in his area but he was not involved in any illegal activities.
