New Delhi: Northern Railway has imposed special trains for Katra and Lucknow to deal with the additional crowd of passengers.
According to the railway, Old Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishnodevi Katra Tri-Weekly special train will depart from old Delhi on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 to 10 in the night and reach Katra at eleven o’clock the next day.
On the return journey between 25-29 April, every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday, every day, Mother Vaishno Devi will depart from Katra station at 1:30 pm and reach the old Delhi station at 3.30 am the following day.
Four AC-2, eight AC-3, and four sleeping coaches will stop in both directions in Ambala, Ludhiana, Pathankot, Jammu and Udhampur in both directions.
For the convenience of the passengers, Northern Railway will run Anand Vihar-Lucknow bi-weekly special train from 25 to 29 April every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 pm and 5 pm. The train will reach Lucknow on the next day at six o’clock in the morning.
Special train will return from Lucknow on Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 pm on every Wednesday and arrive at Anand Vihar station the next day at 4:30.
An AC-2 tier, an AC-3 tier, six sleeper class and four ordinary class coaches will be stopped in Ghaziabad, Moradabad and Bareli stations in both directions.
